Not all barn quilts are made alike. WE USE ONLY MDO (MEDIUM DENSITY OVERLAY) BOARD WHICH IS A PROFESSIONAL SIGN BOARD MADE FOR MANY YEARS OF EXTERIOR USE. Unfortunately, various other materials are currently being used by other barn quilters, the amount of paint layers vary, and precision of design varies. Many of those are not lasting outdoors.
